We have for sale this 1971 RHD 2+2 E-Type. The vehicle has been dismantled and stripped for restoration. She comes with V5 and a valid heritage certificate. This vehicle was previously a running, drivable car with all mechanical components available, and will be sold with the vehicle. Please note: The Jig and rotisseur do not come with the sale of the vehicle. The rear axle can be attached to the car for mobility and to move the shell onto a trailer or flatbed. Many new repair panels have been purchased and will be included in the vehicle's rebuild sale. These include new "A' l/h & r/h frames, picture-frame bonnet, hanging frame, inner & outer full sills, inner sill bracing panels, new doors, all bulkhead panels, and sill closure panels. She is a matching-numbers vehicle with a V5 and a heritage certificate. We are open to sensible offers! 24,777 Miles From New!
A few months back we carried out a full inspection report to this fabulous 24,777 mile black beauty!
A 1983 Jaguar Series three 4.2 saloon in our opinion a very nice car indeed. We did however, find a number of faults with the vehicle on closer inspection including a broken n/s front spring which had not been picked up by the previous owner or any other inspection for that matter prior to the vehicle arriving at out workshop, so that for us was an absoloute priority and decided to fit a new pair of front springs rather then just the broken one which just makes sense. She also had worn top and bottom ball joints, worn anti roll bar bushes, and top shock bushes were also showing signs of deterioration.
Both anti-roll bar staberliser link arms had worn bushes and the link arms were badlly corrosive, so we decided it was nesassary to be replace both for safety reasons. We replaced all the anti-roll bar bushes with

Way back in 2010 we took a trip to bid on some restoration projects, could you imagine the look on our faces when we turned up and saw these. As you can see from the images, I have to say that the neglect of any classic car is a sad situation for any specialist restorer. One consolation, was although the Jags were dead they hadn't been buried yet!

Our 6.0 TWR XJR-S had been preserved in dry storage over many years and was still looking good despite needing some attention. A reluctant sale for us, however, we are happy to know the car will be going into the hands of a fellow enthusiast that will care for her bring her back to her former glory.
